That ole miss isnt the program from 2011 that should never beat lsu like you said.

even if 2011 Ole Miss isn't what they are now, they still have never been good enough or better than LSU enough to warrant rushing the field.

The irony is glorious. Youre using an opinion that the talent gap between bama and lsu smaller than the gap between lsu and ole miss and im posting facts from the last 4 classes.

except it's not a fact

The above pic is not my opinion. It is the 4 year recruiting scores.

Downvote a thousand times its still a fact.

And recruiting scores translate into exactly what data that could be construed as factual?

these rankings are opinions

and again. LSU should not be rushing the field after beating a 9-4 Ole Miss team. They just shouldn't. The gap between LSU and Alabama is irrelevant. The gap between LSU and Ole Miss is still large in that 4 year span you keep posting as if it's supposed to refute anything. I think you think you're making a point, but you're just not.

I never said anything about LSU beating Alabama every year or really anything about LSU and Alabama at all, yet you somehow put those words into my mouth. I never said LSU should never lose to Ole Miss either, yet you somehow put those words into my mouth as well. For someone that seems to be basing tyheir argument on "facts," you sure do seem to be remiss to accurately portray what I actually said in this very thread.

It's very simple. LSU beating an above average Ole Miss team in 2014 did not warrant rushing the field. End of story. I really have no idea how you turned this into a comparison of Alabama and LSU.

those are a 4 years recruiting scores by people that get paid to evaluate talent.those are IN FACT each sec program's composite scores.
People that get paid to evaluate cfb talent are pretty damn good. 1500 fbs recruits a year and they pick 30 or so to be 5 star players and 50% of them go onto make the nfl.
Its a better measurement than some guy on the internet.

Its clear ole miss is closer to lsu than lsu is to bama. After next year bama will have had 8 players drafted on the first day from their 2015 dline. Thats just dline.

Stop acting like we rushed the field to beat some shite ole miss team.

They were undefeated #3 in the country and we had a team full of true freshmen.

5? They have beaten us 4 in a row.
2012,2013,2014,2015.

We won in 2010 and 2011. I dont remember any other games. I refuse to acknowledge any other games

Florida 07 comes to mind since I was at that game. But 03 Oklahoma will always have a special place in my heart. It still brings tears to my eyes thinking about the little BCSCG watch party that my dad hosted with our new TV that he bought specifically for that game. Almost felt surreal that we won the whole thing.

Weirdly the 07 championship wasn't nearly as emotional. I think we were all spoiled after winning it all in 03, then having incredible teams in 05 and 06. We took being a top 5 team for granted at that point. Kind of sad

Only because we started the season ranked. Ole miss had beaten bama and a&m and at the time were headed for a sec west title. But maybe youre right. We should always be above rushing the foeld against a team that hasnt won a sec title since we landed on the moon.

You cant just use nfl draft. Tim tebow maybe the best sec pkayer ever and cant make a nfl roster.skyler greeen was aa great player at lsu and couldnt sustain a nfl spot.trent richardson was a beast at bama and cant stay on roster.

#2 overall pick

why can't we use the NFL draft? You sure seemed to want to use that as an indication of Ole Miss' talent talking about their 3 projected 1st round picks this year. I guess watching highlight videos and evaluating teenagers is a more exact science

actually no, we re-entered the rankings going into that game after being unranked for two weeks prior to the ole miss game. try again. for as good as you're trying to make ole miss out to be, you seem to be downplaying how good we were as much as possible

we probably shouldn't be rushing the field after beating anyone, much less Ole Miss

Because there are good college players that dont get drafted.

At the end of the day, this entire ridiculous argument started because I found it odd someone's "PEAK" as an LSU fan was beating a 9-4 Ole Miss team. I don't know why you got your panties in a wad over that, but alas you did.
