I respect the doctor’s credentials, but has he thought of the possibility that Chris Bosh and Brandon Ingram used a time machine to travel to May 2021, got their vaccines, and then traveled back?

This would present a feasible alternative to his theory.

Or Serena Williams….

Blood clots in athletes are actually not rare, at all, due to overuse of said muscle

Cy Young winning 9 games with a losing record. What a time to be alive.

Blood clot…nothing to see here folks, totally normal!

Yes, it's perfectly normal for healthy young people to get blood clots. Happens all the time.

He has 4.80 ERA his last 3 starts.
He has about 4 to 5 starts left. Say he goes one and three in those start with one no decision. That puts him at 8-12 on the season with an ERA somewhere north of 2.5.
The Pirates could sit him that last 2 starts because they suck.

Unreal that this post has to turn into insane anti-vax crap from verified nutters.

But anyway, Skenes was already going to win the Cy Young.

That’s scary stuff - hope he’s ok. Definitely not the way you want to win it

He was in the lead before Wheeler injury. Best pitcher in baseball.

Or Covid-19

The vaccine pussies always forget that one. (No offense to this poster.)

Yep. Young athletes have always had blood clots this much even before the you-know-what shot. It happened all the time!

That’s what’s called confirmation bias. You’ve been spoon fed the idea that the shots are bad by your political handlers and that blood clots are proof, so now you pay attention to any time it is mentioned. You had no reason to care before, so you didn’t pay attention. That does not substitute for actual rigorous statistical analysis.

One game in Coors Field and one game against the hottest team in baseball aren’t really the most representative sample to use to project future performance.

Yes, these guys are so quick to jump on “proof” that what their overlords told them to believe is true that they don’t realize that things like blood clots and myocarditis are very common effects of the virus itself.

That's a good point. I'd like to see statistical analysis to see the difference, if any, in blood clots in the population before and after the vaccine. Where can I find that?
