What do you think “on some level” means? You think the baseball team fricked off from March until fall ball? I didn’t say they played actual games in summer leagues

he’s not? I didn’t see that in the quote from CPM. Looks like CPM just told him where he stood on the depth chart following fall ball.

lol...this isn't a court of law, dipshit. I owe you nothing.

We're all still waiting for you to take your head out of your arse and come up with a better shtick than the one you are currently plowing into the ground on a nightly basis.

I took it to mean you were trying to say these kids were playing baseball on some level meaning actual games and not just practice of some kind in a cage or throwing. I don’t think a few months only getting cage work really separates people that much if at all.

Taking no reps whatsoever is definitely going to have a kid fall behind when he finished playing high school baseball in May of 2019 and had 2 months total of baseball between then and the start of 2021.

His mom on twitter

“He never said he was not going to play football anymore. That's a blatant lie. Smh. We met with him. When he says behind it was not talent wise. He said behind meant in depth because he was at football in the fall. But that was not what Paul Mainieri said in recruiting.”

“He was promised that he would have plenty of opportunity. Now it's we're not sure when you'll get an opportunity. Coach O never lied to him, he has been stellar.”

None of them played summer ball. And fall ball was shortened and limited to start. And Paul put a kid at 3B opening day who had less than a week of practice there. So let’s not pretend Fall Ball is some necessary thing to get on the field.

Since you love to talk about PM’s inability to evaluate talent, let me remind you that you said Hellmers was put at 1st base to try and win the starting job over Morgan because he didn’t cut it as a pitcher.

I also said nothing about the other players on the team last year. All I said was that both PM and Hampton acknowledged that he was raw and had to earn a starting spot. He was given opportunities to show what he could do before his injury, which was also another setback. I’m not saying Hampton won’t be a first rounder one day, but he did not come to LSU playing like one. It’s natural to think that hitting would be slower to come, but he honestly hasn’t excelled in the field with judging balls or throwing accuracy either.

Some kids are gamers. Take Chris Reid. Going from getting cut and doing nothing for 6 months to getting a spot back in January and starting most of the season. Mo is slightly more talented than Mr Pro Hitter too.

An opportunity to play. Who should we sit in the outfield to let him play right now?
