Should have never come back to coaching. He had left LSU on very good terms, and was even included in the 2023 Championship celebrations with many players being his recruits. That should have been his ending. I guess he’ll leave a little richer now though.

people act like Smoke was Hallman or McMahon. Smoke got the Tigers to the World Series twice in his short time as coach. Yeah the last year was terrible missing the postseason. Paul missed the postseason a couple times himself.
