I will continue to cheer on LSU baseball, thanks. I'm not going to force you to be excited about the prospects of making it to Omaha.

The second that PM is shown in the dugout absolutely blasting players like you want him to, you and the others like you will bleed all over the board about him dogging players and throwing them under the bus.

You know it. I know it.

Soooo...that just completely excuses the fact that the team looked like complete shite for most of the regular season....great...gotcha!
Yes you stupid frick. You want to be the Oakland Athletics or the Yankees?

If he makes it to Omaha then this season is a success and pussys like you can wait til next year to complain about midweek games again.

WRONG!!!! I got no problem with blasting players when it’s deserved! We need a little more of that IMO.
Throwing them under the bus during post-game pressers when you’re covering your own fuq up is a different story.

You will find fault with any and everything Mainieri does. It is completely obvious. Do your thing, just stop trying to pretend we don't know what you are doing.

lsu2006 -That's a little different than seeing a 5 second clip of a facial expression of a coach and determining he's sulking or giving up or the team is toast.

For one, your dumbass obviously didn't watch Mainieri in the dugout for hours during the regional, and the Southern Miss game finally, it looked like he was suffering chest pains and a mini heart attack from all the damn stress. I was sincerely concerned for his health as were other LSU fans.

League Champs - Because Paul did an awesome job coaching Hal Hughes, getting Auburn to kick that ball around, and engineering UGA to lose to an emotional FSU team. We back our way into a SR, and the pumpers can't stroke fast enough.

You certainly have a legit gripe about Hughes. The other stuff is childish and stupid. So you consider Mainieri lucky, he should get no credit? Mainieri loss 5 pitchers to injuries and his two top starters got hurt. Do you consider that lucky? League Chump!

lsu2006 -I don't give a shite about going 17-13 in the SEC and dropping a handful of midweek games if we wind up in Omaha. Neither should anyone.

RedTigerRulz - I don't either.....but don't sit there like a god damned idiot and act like it never happened. The same problems that plagued the team off and on throughout the season haven't magically disappeared forever.

Nice observation Red! Way to nail his balls to the wall with a rusty nail.

IMO he's basically just done his job up to this point. Nothing more and nothing less. I'm a big fan, but I don't think it's time to start praising him just yet.

IMO he's pulled off a stunning coaching exhibition. Mainieri coached his arse off to get LSU's fortunes turned around. IMO You're an idiot! Nothing more nothing less.

Calm down, dude

I don't think that's possible for him. I really think he's bi-polar.

We are two wins away from the CWS and some people are upset because we struggled, at times, getting to this position rather than appreciating the effort given by the team to get to the supers. I don't understand the hate for a coach who has brought hardware to LSU.

True. But we're also two injuries away from that opportunity vanishing. Some fans worry about LSU's struggles at the plate resurfacing. With the injury bug so apparent this season, my biggest worry is about arms that suddenly develop soreness. Just going to take it, appreciate it, one game at a time.

Well, IMO, anybody you call an idiot should take it as a huge compliment.
