OK. Never said they did. But I feel more confident in this team than I have at any other point in the season. We are playing with confidence and haven't been this healthy on the whole yet.

This is one of his strengths.

He tinkers with the lineup until he finds one that works. The only reason he’s still tinkering is cuz He has hitters that were terrible that are hot now causing him to move his lineup accordingly.

Absolutely agree....but heres my question to you.

How much of this turnaround do you attribute to PM as opposed to getting a bit healthier and the players finally taking ownership?

After watching PM flounder around a bit and make some head-scratching decisions during the season...and sit in the dugout sulking for what seemed like the last third of the season...I' m not sure the resurgence of late is his doing or something else.

The HC is still responsible for allowing players to get healthy and not folding during adversity

Getting healthy has been huge. I think you have to give credit to the players and to PM for buckling down. He's the head coach and ultimately takes ownership for the good and the bad.

The stuff about sulking in the dugout or whatever is so stupid it's not even worth addressing. I'll talk about baseball stuff all day but that is pointless and utter nonsense.

Because you think it has no effect on the psyche of the team or you're denying it happened?

I honestly don't understand why these people are melting because the coach is getting some credit for making it to home super regional.

There are some people that seem like it ruined their week already.

I think it's asinine to make a declarative statement or conclusion about a coach or team's state of mind based on a 5-10 second clip of a coach's face in the dugout throughout a 3+ hour game.

This is what he is SUPPOSED to do and gets paid handsomely for you moron.

Stop acting like PM has done anything other than what is routinely expected of him at LSU.

You want him to chill now that we’re 2 wins from Omaha? Didn’t you just start another thread about how hot FSU is?
OP is known for being an overreacting idiot. Doesn't surprise me.

This is the reason. Because the coach is getting credit.

They had written him off and can't change the mentality.

So giving the coach credit for doing what he’s hired to do is what has you so upset?

Let's just ignore that the same no nothing imbeciles in this fanbase were spouting off a month ago that the team wouldn't even MAKE a regional.

Now the same goal post movers are salty because once again their low sports iq was exposed.

The fans expectations are the issue. Even in achieving, you've got to recognize how difficult it really is to maintain a program at an elite level.

Here's your problem right here.....you think you know I'm upset from a forum post.....but in the same breath claim....its impossible to judge the demeanor of a coach from a 5-10 second clip on TV.

You see the irony here? You must possess a special gift!

Considering you called me a "goddamn idiot" and another poster a moron within 2-3 posts, I think it's reasonable to conclude you're upset about something That's a little different than seeing a 5 second clip of a facial expression of a coach and determining he's sulking or giving up or the team is toast.

Anyway, I'm excited about our position right now. You should be too
