Parking ? for Home games at Tiger Stadium

I've got my ticket for MS State game in Tiger Stadium on October 17. Been many years since I've been home to see a game. I bought my ticket on Seat Geek and am seeing parking prices starting at over $100. Crazy. My question is can a person still show up early on game day and park at Parker Ag center parking or somewhere similar for free on first come first serve basis and avoid these exorbitant parking prices? Thanks.

If you show up very early you can park for free in the U High parking lot.

Unless you're fat, park near the levee and walk. It's free and you get a bit healthier.

Where you park should be driven by how you want to exit the area after the game. You want to be going with the contra flow. And yes, there is free parking at the Ag Center. For Clemson, it was gone by 7:15am for a night game. For LaTech it was only half full around 1:00pm.

They've now confiscated my long time free parking space. (Old Back 9 across from Alex Box) but I see a small section of grey at the very back of the lot. 
if that is free or not.
I see that there are still 2 free hay field lots way down there at the interdimensional nexus of Gourrier and River Road. (And still at Parker and around Knox Kiffin High School)
Need to know for our upcoming "One game a year" trip.
Been There Done That. Don't have the compulsive and obsessive desire to be in that stadium any longer. "Been There and Done That" more than 90% of this Board. (Rough Estimate)

I parked in the hayfield last weekend and it was not full when I got there at 11.
Unfortunately, I took a left on River Road when we left and didn't get back to Hammond for 2 hours.

Go early and park around the old AG center.
