Making O the 2nd highest paid HC when his market demand was NOWHERE close to that high was unbelievably stupid. Then following that up by agreeing to let O give Pelini that ridiculously stupid contract was worse. Instead of being the “parent” in the situation to rein in the child with the over-inflated ego he fanned the flames. Now he has no respect if he tries to “fix the mess”.
You can’t justify the HC’s inflated sense of self importance then try to control it on the back-end. Woodward has failed his first major decision miserably

If it is up to Scott Woodward, no. At the beginning of this I thought there was no way in hell he would be gone... Now he has zero support and an AD that is looking for an excuse to can him. My gut says yes, but it wouldn’t shock me in the least if he’s fired for cause
