I remember that debacle. I still call it the Hall of Shame Bowl.

I’m not a fan of OOC opposition, such as my Sooners, chanting “S-E-C” over and over again. Reputation precedes you. It was a nice win and I’ll take it. I’ll take the win as it gives hope for what to expect going into 2021. It wasn’t a statement win by any means as it does not advance us to the national title game. It helps with recruiting and adds to the prestige that is OU.

With that said, this still doesn’t help ease the fact OU has an 0-5 record vs. the SEC in two BCS title games and three CFP games. If OU was truly motivated, “0-5” would be motivational bulletin board material.

The win over Florida last night was a nice way to end the year after a 1-2 start. I’ll take that any day. But there is still more to be desired and I hope this is a start.

And last years Peach Bowl in actuality should have been 84-7. LSU “gave up” starting in the second half. Oof, time for a coffee and Bailey’s.

Happy New Year’s Tiger Rant!

Calm down, motivation is tough for whoever loses the sec title game. Go back and look at how all recent losers of that game fared in their bowl game

I understand the perspective and point of view.
Still not an excuse to get beat down like that.
And I’m very calm.

I was really impressed with several players on OU’s team but the one that surprised me was their running back Stevenson I think was his name. Dude ran like a shorter Derrick Henry. I hadn’t even heard of him before last night.

Also, Mullen responded like a toddler who isn’t getting his way. He failed his team and Trask, specifically.

Yep . . . they finally put up a number in a year with a pandemic and a depleted opponent. Crow about it Sooners.

Big difference between our ability to run and OU's against Fla. They are good.

Blind Hog!
Didn't we run against Florida?
I know the OL wasn't our strength but we improved as the season progressed.

Hillbillies weren’t chanting that when we played them. Bunch of imbeciles in Oklahoma.

Thank you for being one of the rational Oklahoma fans I run into online. Your squad had an impressive year and improved a lot after a rough start. You guys should be proud of the season, because it will build into success next year.

Best of luck in 2021 to your Sooners. I hope you guys do well, unless you happen to match up against my Tigers.

Sure, florida was playing second string WRs and TE

But it was still the first string defense and they got destroyed, 435 rushing yards holy frick

as far as im concerned, the SEC should be on notice after that performance

They thought they were tough when they beat Bama in the meaningless sugar bowl. They are the kings of meaningless games.
