Other than a late hit late in the game was there a single mental error last night?

No silly illegal procedures at all. The late hit on Seaton was iffy and I still liked it. The one the D comitted was worse than Seaton.

I usually put drops on the mental error side of the game, but I could be convinced they don't count for this thread.
I also think those can be cleaned up with reps.

Yea I don’t recall anyone being actually down on the field or even slow to get up from our side.

I liked it too. That 300 pound hoss who lines up in the middle of the field got penalized for a block made near the sideline.

If you are talking about the back that leaked down the sideline, that would be the only one. I’m not convinced he would have scored though, because I think it was benefield looked to be back and could have rotated over to stop him after like a 30 plus yard gain

Would not have been a td. We still had a high safety who would have been able to make a tackle. Just because Fowler or Kirt said it doesn’t mean it’s true.

There was a missed FG and a penalty on a return.

Yea it would have been a big gain but not a TD. The safety could be seen deeper than the back that leaked out

Yea only a TD if the qb could have seen him in time, made a perfect throw and his back would have had to make a hell of a play after the catch.
The pressure we were applying made it to where he didn’t have time to get there.
Now a good qb might pick up on that but the good news is Blake will have that corrected.
Last year that would have been a major problem because every bust was exposed because we couldn’t generate pressure.

Our guys are extremely disciplined. Very happy to see that. We had so many drive killers last couple seasons bc of penalties. Stupid penalties at that.
