Wasn’t Friday the first time she made any public comments? It first came up because the incident was noted in the report, but she wasn’t interviewed for the report and it only mentioned a “coach”.

I think we can all agree that what guide said to that woman was awful.

BUT

It’s not illegal to tell a woman you want to lick her up and down.

Am I the only one who doesn’t see how this fits in with the rest of the shite?

Exactly T Ree. This situation is the exact type of situation Verge handled. If you read the HB report , one of the practices that stood out was the player’s use of Verge as a counselor and confessor. He intervened on their behalf quite often. This incident isn’t something that goes to O upon receipt. It goes to Verge for him to handle.

There isn't anything hypothetical or made up about this by anyone on this board. What are you talking about?

He says he didn't talk to her. She says he did. There are phone records to be examined and Orgeron may have to testify under oath. If he was covering up his knowledge about the incident, his job will be in jeopardy. These are potential outcomes that are being discussed.

Eta: I should have said that I didn't make anything up because I haven't read every thread or post on the board on this topic.

THERE IS NO CRIME! Saying nasty stuff to a random person is not illegal nor should it warrant discipline beyond running sprints.

I hate the drip, drip, drip of these investigations/reports. Every time the story starts to die down new details emerge and back into the news goes the program.

Not true

People have lost such cases under a few different laws in louisiana:

disturbing the peace, stalking, and others

How can it be stalking if it happened once?

disturbing the peace

While the comments are disturbing, nothing stopped this woman from moving away from Guice.

Look I hate that I am defending Guice cuz he is a POS but saying dirty stuff to people isn’t against the law or every creep that DMs celebs on social media would be subject to arrest.

Also with this precedent, every player who talks shite on the field should be arrested for assault....

Arrest every player who talks shite then. That’s law is written such that having any argument with anyone is illegal.

Go tell a woman that you work with that you want to do a whole bunch of sexually explicit things to her and let me know how that works out for you and your first amendment rights.

No,she previously said she didn't talk to Ed O. Then she changed her story and said she did.

I don't think she knows or even remembers who she spoke with. Not that I think she is trying to lie. I just think she doesn't know or remember.

To me, it would be odd that she would get to talk to Ed O during the season. However, some other male in the athletic department sounds much more plausible to me. Again, I don't think she knows or even remembers who it was.

I think he should have been suspended for the bowl game at least. You shouldn't be allowing kids to play the next game after representing the team that way especially in a public setting. The whole touching himself while he was saying it and continuing on and on takes it way over the line IMO.
