He certainly remembers the issue coming up and being notified that there was something going on with Guice. He may not recall a specific conversation with Ms. Scott. This could still get ugly for Ed before it's over.

It doesn't really make any logical sense that a head coach would remember being told about this incident and not remember calling the 70 year old woman with Guice in his office. One of them is lying.

Mrs. Scott said, "It sounded like Coach O". As far as I know she never said it was Coach O. He just as soon said he never talked to her and let her lawyers prove it was Coach O. Unless there is a recording of that conversation to me that can't be proven!

Saying "I don't remember doing that" is a hell of a lot different than saying "I didn't do that."
Even if the conversation never happened, shifting your answer from full deniability to plausible deniability is a terrible move.

I would highly doubt that he would get fired over that. It wasn't his choice to play or not play or to personally reprimand Guice! Either way I just wish they would wrap all this crap up so we can just move the frick on already!
