Wow. What a story.

You really will defend o over anything.

If he talked to that woman about derrius guice grabbing his dick in front of her, hwould remember that.

Allegedly hits on a girl. I'm not calling her a liar but we have only heard one side of the story.

Guys these days are recording their dates on phones or recording devices in case they are falsely accused of sexual misconduct because that shite can totally ruin your life - job, family, friends, everything.

quote:

According to a 2017 report by the US National Institutes of Health, fake accusers "were primarily motivated by emotional gain. Most false allegations were used to cover up other behaviour such as adultery or skipping school".

quote:

Both the Duke Lacrosse team case in 2006 and the alleged University of Virginia gang rape in 2014 were widely covered by the media. They were terrible miscarriages of justice

quote:

Stories have since come out showing that upwards of 60% of men are afraid to mentor women at work, fearing what will happen if they meet behind closed doors without a third party present.

These days with the "metoo" movement it has become guilt by accusation.

Doing what he's accused of doing and hitting on a girl couldn't be anymore different.

In this day and age, I'm not so sure that is correct.

I was just taken aback that you made up a hypothetical

I didn't make up anything. There is an ongoing investigation into this. LSU's own lawyers are taking about "dealing with Orgeron" and from your own OP, lawmakers are demanding that Orgeron testify...
quote:

Lawmakers have demanded Ed Orgeron testify after Gloria Scott said Friday that Orgeron rejected her request to punish Derrius Guice after he allegedly sexually harassed her.

This isn't going away. They will find out whether he talked to her or not. So, the potential is there.

Unless this woman is a psychopath like Guice, what did she have to gain from this then or now? She hasn't asked for any money that I'm aware of. All she asked for was that he be suspended.

Like elementary school. "Hey Ronnie, if superman could play marbles would you be too afraid to play him?" Poor Ronnie's blood pressure went up over the thought of having to play a person that doesn't exist

Has this been proven? Has Guice admitted to it?

I think we find that out when we find out whether or not Orgeron really called her with Guice in his office. There would be no reason for the phone call or especially for Guice to be there during the call otherwise.

Also in her testimony on Friday she stated that she had recorded her calls with whomever she spoke with at LSU but "DROPPED THE PHONE IN A POT OF RED BEANS"

It's illegal to record people on the phone without their permission, consent, or knowledge. Meanwhile, her excuse for how she lost the recordings sounds like an obvious lie to me.

Where did you get that from? I think grabbing of the nuts is the NEW mating ritual for young people. It is also what they do when drinking, smoking, dancing, singing, waiting in line, sleeping, praying, eating, etc, etc, etc,

I am just not a fan of convicting people based on accusation alone.

The lead singer of Motley Crue has been been in a lot of trouble over a long period of time. If he wasn't rich and the lead singer of a famous band he would probably be dead or in prison for life.

Years back, a woman accused Vince Neil of molesting her in a Casino elevator in Vegas. Guess what? Casino elevators have security cameras. She didn't get a dime out of Vince. Some on this board would have convicted Vince based on his past and if she had said he had grabbed his junk while molesting her, OH BOY!!!

Louisiana is one-party consent. If you're part of the call you can record it without the other party's knowledge or consent and it can be used in court. I'm not a lawyer but I have been sued.

Nope just told a story about a huge event and what I remember of it. And besides work I don't make a lot of phone calls. Nothing like Coach O was doing back then.

You don't know that. He may not remember it even if it was him grabbing his dick.

Come on now Ree.

That doesn't mean you have to dismiss the action like it's something that couldn't have happened, or that even if it did it was acceptable behavior.

Throughout this whole thing not a single person has denyed what Guice did. The focus has either been on "that isn't sexual harassment" or "Coach O never directly spoke to her."

At the end of the day none of that excuses Guice's poor behavior throughout his time at LSU, or the fact that LSU knew about all of this behavior and never really disciplined him. They just use the excuse that he is from a broken home and sent him along his way. As an LSU fan and alumni, that saddens me.

Guice and O are tied to the hip with most of his accusations that happened while he was at LSU so it’s no shocker to see you defending them.

Guice was held out of bowl practice for a week after the claims were reported but it was later explained that he was “nursing an injury.” Does anyone recall how he was injured or where he was injured?
