I’m seeing some very classy comments in here and I like it. I have no problem with them claiming him as long as they don’t say he’s not a tiger also.

I think it's pretty cool that he has a lot of fans from both fan bases honestly

LSU fans could possibly be in the scenario in the future.

Let’s say Finley continues to improve, plays the rest of the games this season, becomes the most experienced QB on the roster, and after the spring practices he is named starter. Brennan probably Transfers and I for one will be rooting for him wherever he goes (unless he plays LSU). And if he ends up making it to the nfl I will still be rooting for him as well.

Once a Buckeye, always a Buckeye. That's how we feel about our players past and present. Not to mention that he's also a native son. What a stupid thing to get torqued up about.

Here's to a speedy recovery Joe.

We said the same about Noah Spence and others that didn't end their careers at Ohio State.

Well, they are as proud of him as we are...I haven’t seen them taking credit for his success or anything like that.

Well, he was under the tutelage of Tom Herman and Ryan Day there.... and Haskins did break all BIG10 records the one year he played.

Agreed. One of my best friends lives in Columbus and did nothing but praise Burrow once he left OSU for LSU.

That being said, last year some OSU trolls on twitter were blasting me with stuff like "you gotta steal a QB from us to be successful". However, once I pointed out that they "stole" a QB from Georgia to start for them...

agree 100%

The guy DID attend, play football, and graduate from Ohio State.

THEN AFTER THAT, the guy DID attend, play football, and graduate from LSU, and did some pretty awesome things while here at LSU.

OSU should absolutely claim him!

I was reading some delusional comments on social media and the OSU fans are coming out everywhere trying to claim Burrow lol saying once a Buckeye always a Buckeye and he graduated from OSU. I’m like okay cool, Burrow is a LSU Legend, Heisman trophy winner/National Championship QB! Oh and btw he also graduated from LSU! Has anyone else see these types delusional comments from their fans?

I brought up at the beginning of the season that most of the season lead in stories on Burrow seemed to have a tOSU background shot and would show Burrow in his Buckeye Spring Practice action shots. The Rant killed me

Dwayne Haskins felt like more of the NFL prospect and Joe felt like he was going to be a better college player (how'd that work out?)

A lot of us wanted to see Burrow succeed in Columbus, but you can't fault him for picking LSU over the Cincinnati Bearcats! What a great choice. I certainly enjoyed watching the last two seasons of Tiger football because of Burrow. He exposed us Buckeyes to one of the greatest seasons and greatest receiver corps in college history.

Every fanbase has idiot fans and the Ohio State fanbase is certainly not short on them.

No he’s not. He had no meaningful stats or significant impact at OSU. If Joe Burrow had dropped out of football, altogether, and instead left Ohio State for the Peace Corps, or med school, or a Tibetan monastery, nobody at Ohio State would know, or remember his name right now.
