Not going to bench Johnson. Having an experienced QB ready to come in is always comforting.
Johnson could run more.
We have some rough games ahead and our OL is not reliable to protect the QB.

Purple Tiger is either 12, on the spectrum, or both

I’m guessing it opens -24.5 and makes its way to -27.5

Brennan’s time here is over. Ed has become quite the quarterback whisperer. He sees something special in Max

He is not going to play because he is not close to being in the same league with Johnson. Hell, Nussmeier is far better than Brennan

That’s what I’m thinking. If Max continues to play well and get better, how do you bench him in favor of Brennan who hasn’t played in over a year?

Because Max is kind of shite? He's a better QB than what we had in the worst Miles QB years, but he is very far from "acceptable" for a team that is #6 in the nation for pass attempts. Brennan is a significantly more talented QB and unless he completely lost it during recovery, he's definitely the starter.

I knew you would get downvoted but you’re absolutely right, either Brennan has a shite ton of family on this board or there’s a bunch of idiots that have never played the QB position claiming Brennan is a better “arm talent” which they use incorrectly or has “a stronger arm” which is pure speculation. He’s by far the least mobile of the 3 and has proven to be injury prone and people want him to come in a play behind this offensive line? Nah

Damn, a whole month, well, the season just got worse. Listen, Johnson's throwing is suspect, but somehow he's leading the country in what, throwing TD's or something. Probably because of playing teams like McNeese St and Cen Mich, LSU should have beaten UCLA, but the defense was not good that game. They played better against Miss St, but at the end of the game the defense was not good again. We'll see in this Auburn game because if Nix sucks, Auburn won't hesitate to play Finley who can throw the shite out of a ball despite his flaws.

Brennan is a better passer and proved it before he got hurt last season. If Johnson is leading the country, imagine how many TD's Brennan could have thrown by now.

Agree. This is Brennan's last season. It's time to move on with the future. What good would it do for Brennan to start 3 games ?

It doesn't work like that. Brennan is a statue. He would've taken more sacks vs UCLA.

Why do you guys think Brennan would be more beneficial to the team right now? He is fat, out of shape, and slow. He has a good arm and threw well, but he needs a good offensive line to be productive. The pass rush we received from UCLA, he would’ve been sacked at least 10 times. His pocket presence is worse than Jefferson/Jennings/Randall. Max is our guy. He’s 2nd in country in TDs and leads every statistical category in the SEC.

Did he have a good OL when he was putting up 350+ in the first 3 games last year trying to keep up with the other teams offense because our D literally couldn't stop anyone

He's way more accurate past 10 yards than Max and is better than Max is every advanced statistic
