WTF does that have to do with the price of Red Bull in Larose???

O went and got him.... FACT... Miles could have talked to him but there was ZERO chance that A decent Qb's coming to LSU because of the Miles offense... FACT....

Sounds like you are mad that Burrow landed here just to take a shot at O... As usual............

It’s well known that reading isn’t your strong suit, Duke, so I’ll try to type slower.

There isn’t a bigger Burrow fan on this board and I’ve been on board with him since Day fricking 1.

Again, why is Miles even in this discussion? (I’m going to avoid responding to your idiotic assumptions because they are wholly irrelevant).

I am on record here that he should be fired if we didn’t win the West in 2016.

You've got the worst reading comprehension of any person I've ever come across dukke. And that includes my grandkids who are still in elementary school.

Balanced and well-intended criticism is very helpful. But calling our Coach Special Ed making unfair comments about our players who are giving it their all is just immature and uncalled for on this site. It hurts recruiting, and it makes our state look like a bunch of idiots

If only you had to agree w this to post on here. Life would be better for many.

I don't know about that earl.

I read that as "free corndogs at the Jena sonic"

I'm currently lost in Sicily Island, still disappointed about no corn dogs.

On topic, non-sarcastic reply to OP:
I'm making some assumptions here, but I think Orgeron forced E, by some manner, to evolve enough to bring us to this point.

So, in my mentally constructed world, without Orgeron (and the pressure on him!) E would've been an improvement, but without Orgeron the plateau would've been hit and there we remain. In short, we would not have had the offense to beat UGA without Orgeron demanding E do better. No meddling; no interference. Just force of personality, partially born of desperation, on his OC.

What does that have to do with with what you quoted?

The quoted part said the run run pass punt era was over.

I pointed out it's actually as bad as its even been.

A talented QB with a good arm, nervous feet, and game management skills will cure a lot of woes on any football team. Watching Joe going about doing his thing is so much fun to watch.

Anyone for a spirited HAKA before the festivities (game) begins?

lol, I just assumed that was sarcasm; because if it is not, my world just turned into 180 upside down world and I'm just going to set my hair on fire and run around in one of those Japanese inflatable sumo suits (if I can find one that fits).

My expectations for CEO to keep his job: Atlanta, on the average, at least, 1 every 3 years. 8 wins (or less), never. No lower than 3rd in those 3yrs in the West.

As far as extensions... fulfill that first. Then let's talk. Makes no business sense either. No one is calling. And if Alleva falls for an agent manufactured "Les to Arkansas" situation he should be curbed stomped just before he is fired. And FKA beat with his own shoe for letting him.

Pointing out we punt a lot and have a bad 3rd down conversion rate doesn't show that we run 3x and punt. Pass 3x and punt would lead to the exact same stats.

ETA - Working on the numbers

We're passing the ball on 1st and 2nd down roughly 36.5% of the time this year. The last QB we had with similar skill to Burrow was Mett, and we threw the ball on 1st and 2nd down about 32.5% of the time. Didn't hurt having Hill and Magee averaging 7 yards per attempt either.

I am sorry you didnt understand what was going in Miles mind , no coach wants anybody to know his thought process during a game! I am grateful my thought processes are different from the nega fans !

I agree 100%. Miles has left no doubt that he loves LSU. At least in my opinion there's no doubt.

This has all happened under Ed. Just saying.

That's why people were bitching for so long. A lot of the same shite.

A lot of that has to do with us taking more chances as in taking shots down the field on first and second down and when those shots fall incomplete it creates third and long situations but that's not completely the whole story we absolutely have to get better in third down and red zone scoring TD/FG ratio but man it is so nice to have a offense and QB who can actually complete a third and long every now and then lol also coach O loves LSU and has done damn near whatever it takes to make us great again from going out AFTER the spring game and getting a transfer QB because he wasn't satisfied with what we had and wanted us to do good now and from spending a scholarship on a one year kicker (who's arguing that now) and from getting a guy he trusts to run the offense and make us successful
