Literal vs figure of speech. Look at his response to taking the money and not giving 2 shits. He wasn’t invested after 2019 and his divorce.
He got paid back for that so I’m good. Glad his ex took 1/2. frick him

We were left in a bad spot he left however, I don't think it's from lack of trying. Burrow just kinda fell in his lap. I wouldn't say he's unlikable. BK is much worse because he had an opportunity with the keys handed to him and all he ever did was stay lazy. O was never lazy for LSU. He just struggled post Burrow era.

Did Jay Johnson quit on the team this year with that absolute debacle the year after the National Championship?

You can focus on the undefeated National Championship football team or the teams the 2 years after. Your choice

It is common for teams to get gutted and lose important assistants after a National Championship.

You do know it was 3 consecutive years of pure shite, right?

Jay also won 2 titles in 4 years and it took losing LSUs best pitcher for nearly the entire SEC and second best for 4 weeks and their returning LEADING HITTER IN SEC (Stanfield) AND arguably their best hitter for a month at the end of the season AND force Jay to sit Schmidt the final weekend to cost them 4 games and not make the tournament.

That versus having a gf and her kids on the sidelines at practice. Orgeron didn’t put in the work but for one thing - chasing pussy

Nice story but the team sucked the entire year. Yes I watched it all

Stanfield was irrelevant this year (for 2nd half of season). Schmidt not pitching last game didn't change anything

Evans was 2-4 with 5.9 ERA.

I feel like Lane releasing Ed into the recruiting world is like a soldier or police officer releasing a malinois into a battlefield to do its thing. Let that dog hunt!

Proves you didn’t “watch shite”. He was injured the first fricking weekend when he broke his hand THEN pulled a hamstring when he came back almost immediately. You know there is a think such as timing.
It wasn’t a fricking “story”, it was. Fact.

Evans was 2-4 with 5.9 ERA.
AND he got hurt and tried pitching before he went out.
It is simple. Baseball is, was and will always be about pitching and defense.

Proof in point, LSU was up at least 3 times in SEC play mid to late game by 7-2 or 7-3 or 7-4 and fricking couldn’t hold the lead.
You can’t do that to your pen.

No Stanfield did not pull his hamstring immediately when he came back. You want another one of those FACTS? Stanfield batted .228 this year and had a routine fly ball go through his glove to cost a game. Not hating (I like the kid and appreciate his efforts) just giving you one of those FACTS.

Polish the turd however you want. Pitching, defense, and hitting sucked for almost entire year. Infield was worse than high school infields. Pitching starters were average at best. Relievers regressed and were terrible. Returners didn't improve enough and portal additions sucked.

Jay would agree with all of that
