I'm gonna come at you a little more nice than the other posters. You should have stopped at your analysis of the atmosphere of Tiger Stadium Saturday night, which I agree with. It reminded me of the stadium when it was fun, before LSU won the title in 2003. And not to throw out a superfan card, but I've been going to games and fortunate enough that my dad with season tickets took me to games since I was 5 years old. I'm 38 now, so that's 33 years of going to most of the home games.
The 2nd point you're trying to make, just stop now. You're not the center of the universe. You're not going to type out a long winded manisfesto of ego and judgement and suddenly change people's minds, and furthermore nobody needs to understand you. Just enjoy the ride, shake your head at what you think are the dumbasses of this world (basically nobody that agrees with you), and move on to bigger and better things.

I think you are addressing a much broader issue than Tiger Stadium. I think you are touching on a general coarsening of behaviour, a sense of entitlement and just an overall nastiness created by the internet, and message boards in general.
Just stop reading The Rant. It's ok to give yourself permission to tune out the negativity and rantardary if it bothers you that much.There is a whole new level of mediocrity and human misery that has been spawned on the internet, brother. Saturday night in the Stadium was a blissful respite from that reality.

Friend of mine is one of Carolina's athletic trainers. He told me it was the loudest stadium he has been to in the three years he has been at Carolina.

I believe most of the posters here wish they had a Finebaum show so they could become there own radio personalities. Since they don't they wait all day to jump on the OP to get their best smartass jab in. A very cynical bunch for the most part. Thus the smart arse, nega-tiger reaction to a good post. I agree with you.
