Mullen is like Hallman....riding a good QB. Take him away and you have a weaker version of Miles. Nope

I wish some of you would understand Dan Mullen has been Mississippi State's Nick Saban (circa 2000). Their program was absolute dogshit before he showed up. He also kicked the shite out of LSU last season, at night, at LSU. First time Mississippi State has done that in over 20 years.

i really like your thoughts here. I'm disappointed in the way it's all come down, and i am a Les fan until the day he leaves. We won't get Fisher just because that's the norm call for ranters.

Mascona has no idea what he is talking about- he is just guessing

What's the guarantee that Gruden would be a great CFB coach?

You could post the records before/after and it still won't work. Been there, done that.

Jon Gruden

won't happen. he get's paid more by ESPN to do less work for Monday Night Football.

won't happen. Fisher is your top candidate. Will run his own offense, has coached and won championships here before.

Chip Kelly = No (doesn't know what defense is.)
Gary Patterson = No (see example above)
Dabo Swinney = No, just no

Gruden hasn't coached in about eight years. That shows he's not passionate about it. This would be bad.

Do you even know anything about Mullen other than he's recently cached Dak?

ETA: I see Lester is on it already in here

Damn, just yesterday he made like 6 mil. That's one hell of a raise

An insane amount to call 16-17 games a year....... There is ZERO reason for him to leave that... NOW If for some amazing good luck and he wants to come here. LSU would KICK some serious arse... That is one coach for sure that Saban would not want to see on the other sideline..........

Mullen is not a realistic option. He's already making 4.3 mil a yr in Starkville, which is the same as Miles. He isn't going to leave a program he built from the ground up for the same amount of $ and much higher expectations. And I honestly believe, he thinks he can win it all at State and doesn't need to go to a higher prestige program.

Have any of you gruden lovers actually taken a look at his career? He coached 11 years and had 3 losing seasons and 2 .500 seasons. His career record is only 14 games above .500.
He was the epitome of mediocrity and y'all want him to replace miles?
