He will recruit his arse off for sure, but I will reserve my excitement until I actually see them play in the SEC
Just remember what everyone was saying last summer

Im more worried about him not learning from 2024 and depending too much on the portal.
I love winning championships, but not having a competitive team the next year is concerning.

lack of administration support
Wrong. LSU is the most successful college baseball program in America over the last forty years; it didn't get that way without administrative support

Dont be naive...we are being out spent by a few teams in conference.

Several guys need to develop
You have
Evans
Schmidt
Paz
Possibly Sheerin
Williams
Theophilous
Ricken
Arrambide
Serna
BRAUN
Patrick
Yamin
You have to take into account that some of these may transfer out. Jay will also have his work cut out for him with re-recruiting to retain talent already on the team.

Isn’t that what got us into this situation.

LSU has had success in baseball during the NIL era, as well as before. We can find the funds to build a team that can compete with anyone in the SEC

I just hope he doesn’t get a pro job

Not trolling because I really don’t know. How much are they outspending and how many teams spend more?

I don’t think so either but he didn’t exactly shut the possibility down earlier in the year. I’m just glad he’s being honest.
I think he stays but you can’t completely throw the possibility out anymore. If you haven’t seen his comments when asked about a pro job earlier this year, you should check it out

I think a Sheerin probably gets picked in round 2-3 and signs.
Rizy, dude has a live arm but for two years cannot find the strike zone consistently. He may sign if he goes in round 5 or higher.

Don't know why he won't be sleeping in June. It's not like he is going to be coaching baseball.

For the fourth straight year will say Guidry will be ready

I saw it and heard it, that was his way of whining about support.
He couldn’t handle not being in total control of all aspects of an organization and there’s no reason to believe a major league team would want a micromanager with no pro experience as their manager.

I mean, Tony V had no pro experience, is definitely a guy who wants control and the Giants hired him. So I don’t buy that reasoning.
But I do hope it was just him trying to get more support.

He also said he will keep LSUs young players he recruited and believe in his talent evaluations that led them here in the first place.
Hopefully they improve instead of regress. Kind of wild to me how many guys got worse/didn’t improve this year
