Drop the "we" and put Miles' name on it.
Miles quit
Miles did not use all his weapons
Miles did not prepare as he should have
Miles did not give it his all
Many of the players gave it their all, but weren't backed up by their head coach.
end of story
Great statement, DP40!

Hey many of our fans took winning very badly.

You people are out to lunch. Ever heard of a rolling pocket with 4 players defending the quarterback then 2 WRs downfield for TD pass similar to the ones thrown in the 2010 Penn State game for a 17-16 point lead. Miles is really dumb, then again he is only a guard!

That's what bothered me as well. If you only have 90 yards of offense and no points midway through the 4th Q, what do you have to lose by trying to throw deep? If you're concerned about the pressure (which shouldn't really mater since everything else you tried to off set it was already futile) run max protect and only send 2 or 3 WRs out. If LSU would have tried that and threw 3 picks in last 1/2 quarter, I wouldn't have been nearly as upset about as I was about not trying anything.
I could have handled getting knocked out if we would at least tried to at least swing back instead of just standing there b

We take some wins badly.
What other reaction did anyone expect to a L?
We get stuffed in a BCSCG and it's the beginning of the end to LSU football as we know it in the mind of some.
Seems pretty par for the couse to me.

quote:with that gameplan or lack of one, poor preparation, & stubborness from the head coach, lsu would have gotten beat by chapel trafton.
It would have been just as bad if Ok State housed us.. although that wouldn't have happened.

LSU was 2-0 in football title games and 6-0 in the CWS final.
LSU fans have never experienced a loss at the highest level (besides basketball at the final four but everyone should be used to that).
That has nothing to do with it. The reason why I am taking it so badly, as should everyone else, is that Les Miles quit on this team, period. More than a pitiful game plan and not playing the right personnel, for WHO KNOWS the reason.

Stop with that shite.

we may never know the whole truth but the buck stops with CLM- he gets paid to prepare , lead and coach the 13-o best team in the nation in the BCS
When players don't show up to play you bench them
When the head coach does not show up to coach- well you lose ball games -Not acceptable on any level

Somebody should have told Les to dance a jig to Sabans music he was enjoying.

AGREE 100%. To just give up and not try anything new was awful. Sports people don't even have the "want" to criticize the game. They just want to get over it. Hope the hangover is gone before next year, but I still have concerns the hangover is not finished.

I hate to lose more than I love to win.

You hit the nail on the head. Been saying this for a while. Never had to experience a loss in the title game. Happens to everyone.

Looks like the game was a hoax

Because we didn't show up and we shouldn't have had to play them again because we beat them at their own house and Lil Nicky is a hypocrite and Les Miles shouldn't have voted BAMA the #2 team and....
The loss was 3 weeks ago.
Let's move on. It's 215 days (est.) until LSU football.

Miles game plan for the BCS NC was a complete joke. Saban will forever look forward to playing MILES and showing the world he can and will beat
Les 70% of the time. He is just the best at what he does, and now he is taking recruits right out from under his nose. He let LSU players, coaches, fans and University down in the way he represeted LSU on Jan. 9th. Most mature LSU fans totally agree with this statment, and are praying the truth comes out as to how CLM runs the ship. Someone will eventually tell the truth. Miles will never have the respect of most of the LSU fanbase, he took his stubborness to far. He set the tone on the sideline, emotionless, no encouragement, no enthusiasm to the players, no adjustments to his game plan. He can't hurt like the rest of us, he would have tried to prevent such a blowout. He is collecting his 4 million and laughing at us.

My one reason is because Les Miles did the worst coaching of his life. He was to busy patting himself on the back for a job well done. I wonder if he was patting his rear end after Saban took him to the woodshed. I for one feel like Curly and Company are back. This game has put the icing on the cake for me and if he leaves in the next week I will drive the bus or U haul for him no cost. PS. I don't want to hear that crap about 13-0. What good is that when you looked like 0-13 in the biggest game of the year. Les got to hold up one ball and that will be his first and last one.
