Such a stupid, lazy take. LSU had scored a TD a drive or two before that, and that blown review allowed the Alabama drive to continue, kick a FG, and push it to a two score game which completely changed how LSU had to operate in the last 6-7 minutes.

The next thing you’ll probably do is parrot the other ignorant Alabama talking point and say that the reason it was ruled incomplete and the replay was correct is because Jones was simultaneously touching the ball while he was out of bounds.

That was a poorly officiated game. The interception and the blatant late hit on Jefferson were both critical
Misses that impacted the outcome.

Oh, memories.

Here is how I dealt with it- I faxed that picture with a hand-written note demanding an explanation to the SEC office every day for 1 year after that crap.

Needless to say, I never got a response.

Idiocracy. The point being the SEC offices have been in Alabama since the late 1950s and this was prime example number 1.
