I feel like every single game the bigs are going to have 4 fouls in the 4th and play limited time.
Refs arent used to people consistently missing (sometimes contested) layups without there being contact

LSU will have to beat the refs.....you probably want to add that to your matchup list.
But the part of the UCLA game I saw, which was pretty much the whole second half, I thought UCLA was fouling us every time downcourt and they would call every fourth one. It was to me obvious, and obviously terrible.

People love to hate LSU wbb. They play like the villain, and they seem to enjoy playing that role - they're good at it. People likely tune in just to cheer against them.
You think LSU/ USCe wouldn't draw a big crowd in the championship, after their last meeting? LSU just picks up viewership ratings the more "darlings" they beat.

And the officiating got roundly criticized by media last year in post-game (imo officiating was fine)
I’d be surprised if this years game is officiated as strictly as last year

I think the game would have been closer if not for an unexpected hot Carson.
You remember the game well as do I. Carson who was not known as a great 3 point shooter I believe had 7 3 pointers in the 1st half. Obviously, that was a key to the game.

Teams get hot when you give them easy looks. When Iowa has been challenged they shoot worse (surprise).
They are a good shooting team because Clark draws so much attention when she gets into the lane. When they’ve played against teams that can keep her out then they aren’t that great.
I think we have the athletes to affect her drives.
