Was thinking the same, but consider this. Last 2 Tulane coaches punched out when something better came calling.
Tulane might be thinking that if Baker has similar success that he would not be so quick to jump at the carrot like the others did.

Tulane will look for a HC with experience I don't think Baker will be the choice this year. Could be wrong.

I agree, Philly. Unlike CBK, CLK knows and has known for a long time, that LSU is a sleeping giant….just waiting for the right HC and staff. Had Saban stayed, LSU would have at least 3 more championships, IMO, maybe more.
CLK is ready to get this program into the top 3 immediately…..

You missed a good game when we played Ole Miss earlier this year. He put on a clinic about how to beat LSU. He is going to be a really good HC one day. I think he could probably use another year and land a better job, but no reason for him to turn down USF.

I think he’s the obvious choice if Weis moves on. He can bring Hoover with him and leverage it quickly to a HC job. Worked with Lane at FAU.

He called the Drink smoke being actually real, which is why Mizzu extended and gave him a raise.
He also called the Nick Saban smoke real.
People are dumb as hell. The man talks to Jeff Landry, Ross Dellenger, and Verge Ausberry. And you think he doesn't know? Why do you think anybody was running with the "Saban talked up Lane Kiffin to LSU" rumors? They literally got that from Matt.
