Y’all ever seen a governor go from well liked to hated this quick? He won without a runoff and within a year, his approval tanked.
He was never well liked. He was the tallest midget among GOPers and he cut a deal with Cleo Fields for the Democrats not to seriously contest the election.

I’m still waiting for any proof whatsoever that ol’ Omar was harmed by being in Tiger Stadium.
Anything. Any at all.

I don’t think anyone here cares whether or not he was hurt to be honest, I know I don’t at least. It was still a dumb, “look at me and how I swing my dick around,” move by Landry

When do we get to vote him out, again?

I don’t think anyone thinks the tiger was harmed, it’s more of what was the point of this? It was another in his line of look at me, look at my power moments.

They need to bring his arse onto the football field this fall, and introduce him to the crowd, so that everybody can boo him. Maybe then he’ll get the message that even conservatives can’t stand his dumbass and he needs to start doing things differently.

that was stupid. The only thing he has done worthwhile is the constitutional carry law. Outside of that he has been a stinking pile of corrupt dogshite

Waste time with stupid items like the 10 commandments in public schools and other social crusades instead of trying to fix healthcare and education(the GATOR program will fail)
Pushing state legislature to increase his power to Huey P Long levels

It was one of the dumbest and tone deaf Leroy Jenkins moments I’ve ever seen.

Hold the frick up!!! Stupid and 10 commandments should not be in the same sentence. The 10 commandments in school would help not hurt schools.

I’m a Christian and all for the 10 Commandments. Good things to follow. However, posting them in the schools does very little (if anything at all) to change any of the actual real problems in our school system. It got Jeff a nice look at me moment though.

I’m not saying the 10 commandments are stupid, nor do I disagree with the premise of having them in schools.
But if you put up the 10 commandments, you would also be required by law to do the same for every other religion. So do you want the Quran in public schools?
And that’s if it doesn’t get knocked down as unconstitutional. So yes, his action to put the 10 commandments in public schools is nothing more than posturing.

Landry pushed for the law that allows public officials to ignore public records requests.
When confronted by a reporter, he said one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. To paraphrase, "Well, when you sit down at a nice restaurant to have a meal, you don't want to know what goes on in the kitchen, you just want a nice meal. So you don't need to know what we're doing behind the scenes, you just want a result".
Landry Press interview...go to about the :40 mark

Bad thing is.... 99.8% of the posters in this thread couldn't handle running a state and probably over 50% of y'all voted for him.
Bit hey.... nothing was as bad as a grade school book about divorce.

I don't care what side of the isle anyone is on - Landry is a self-serving imbecile who don't know that he don't know. That Omar thing revealed all you need to know. He literally does things like that all the time.
