Ignorant people will down vote you, but when your defensive coordinator doesn't bring more than 4 ever on 3rd and long, questions need to be asked.

/\ THIS /\ is what puzzles me - I'd rather face a 3rd & 3 than a 3rd & 18.

All the way back to Texas game - are we above 50% on stopping 3rd & 18 situations????

Plumlee is easily a 4.4 guy. He’s incredibly fast. Just watch the tape.

I would hope he's faster than everyone's linemen and most linebackers in the country, stupid quote.

Not saying he isn’t fast. Maybe he is 4.4, but there is not verified time on that, not even close. There are hand clocked times in the low 4,4s and I’ve seen “just under 4.4” in some write ups but no electronically captured times.

The kid is fast, but he is smack talking in the worst possible way, IMO. A dual threat QB saying he is faster than another teams O linemen? Well, yeah. If he isn’t he’s not that much of a dual threat. Saying he is faster than out LBs, probably should be but his electronic time isn’t spectacular, it’s actually about the same as Chaisson’s which was 4.6. He’s not as fast as Stingley or Vincent who bot have sub 4.4s, there is no ’maybe as fast as our DBs”.

Ultimately, for LSU, it’s a matter of not taking his speed lightly And not letting him get passed you but if he gets a step ahead of Stingley or Vincent with 60 yards to get to the end zone, I don’t think he’s scoring. He probably gets close but I think they run him down.

I think Ole Miss is 4-6 or similar..
Has he not been playing? Did he just find his speed?

This quote reminds me of the scene in the Waterboy when Bobby Boucher is telling the kids at LT's camp his secret to always being in position to make the tackle.

He’s been playing and has shown the speed. He’s probably why they haven’t lost more than they have. But his passing hasn’t been good at all barely above 50% completion and more yards rushing than passing.

Wish we still had the defense we had when we faced Louisville and Lamar Jackson.

You might think that stat is acceptable, but I don’t. Not when our DC makes top pay in the country.

Brooks should have been on the field more. Why do we not rotate more.

Look at all the idiots in this thread who said Plumlee wasn’t that fast.
