He was the 2nd fastest player on the field when out there. He runs like McCluster did for Ole Miss. Teammate Ealy is allegedly faster. Quite the freshman duo. Too bad he also throws like McCluster or Ole Miss would really have something.

If LSU had to play them again next week and Dave Aranda prepared the defense like he prepared the defense for the Georgia Southern game, then Plumlee could crow all he wanted cause he is not going to score any touchdowns.

He has speed no doubt about it, thank goodness he is not a good QB and just has his speed to get points on the board

Props. He backed up his smack.

If he could actually throw the ball, he'd be unstoppable.

The defense was not good by a long shot.

Aranda’s scheme was also suspect as hell.

The secondary looked very underwhelming as well. Delpit will not be a top 15 pick after the year he’s having. I still think first round, but he needs to step it up......granted he may also be dealing with a lingering injury.

just finished reading and was taken back by the amount of posts, roughly 99% that didnt seemed worried at all about this qb

but this kid flipped the script and made that 99% feel like lsu doesnt have the talent, depth, or coaching (aranda sucks) to stop any offense

im actually thrilled he proved the lsu doubters wrong

This. I saw many highlights of him before last night and we kept seeing these uninformed bravado posts on here all week about how they were not worried and this was not a trap game. I was very worried about him going into last night.

He’s not as fast as Stingley or Vincent who bot have sub 4.4s, there is no ’maybe as fast as our DBs”.

He was right. He became the first QB to rush for 200 yards against the #1 team since Vince Young in the NC against USC in 2006. Nice company.

He was right unfortunately. Ole Miss would have a better record if they used him more at the beginning of the season.

Who can argue with this. He’s going to scorch the LSU defense next year.
