It has been announced that all players from Ole Miss may transfer without restriction after the school reconsidered their initial decision that restricted players from transferring to SEC schools, or the 8 non-conference teams that appear on their schedule in 18-19.

Top 3 we need to at least try for.
1) Shea
2) Ta'amu
3) AJ Brown

Harbaugh already went to Oxford on a private jet and took Shea and Deontay Anderson to IHOP.

Now if Harbaugh landed the plane at IHOP, that would be epic.

Seems like O would be all over this.
Why would ole miss release all players if they didn't have to?

With sanctions coming down along with this they may not be able to compete with EMJC in Scooba.

Shea Patterson, come on down...

Patterson would be CRAZY to go play in Michigans system leading into the NFL draft.
Did he pay attention to how much we threw the ball downfield? Did he pay attention to how well we protected DE?
SP to LSU gives us a realistic chance at the playoffs, meaning SP would be in the limelight all season.
And with Aranda's D.... good golly!!!
Maybe that would excite a few players into coming back? One can dream!

They're free to transfer wherever they want, but it doesn't say the players (other than the juniors) will be able to play without sitting out a year. That's an NCAA issue, and not one Ole Miss can waive.
Unless I missed something, the NCAA hasn't waived that restriction for any players with more than one year of eligibility remaining. This action by Ole Miss just means any players can talk to other schools about transferring without any restriction on whether or not it is another SEC school. Doesn't mean they can be eligible next year unless they're juniors now.
They can petition the NCAA for eligibility next year, but that's an NCAA decision, not an Ole Miss one.
At least that's my understanding, unless I missed something.

Patterson comes to LSU, bye bye to either Brennan or Narcisse. No thanks. I’d rather keep the two we have and get the qb development/rotation back to normal. It’s nice to have a senior qb who has been in the system all 4 years.

Isn't there some sort of proverb about this.
