That’s a shame. All it takes a small group of idiots to give us a bad rep. I want opposing fans to fear for their team on the playing field but I always want the fans themselves to enjoy their experience at our campus.
Saw tons of LSU tailgates with Ole Miss fans visiting and sharing food and drinks.
I personally gave up my spot by right by the road on Victory Lane to an Ole Miss fan who was there with his 10 y/o son. It was his first time to an away game and I wanted him to get the experience of the cheerleaders, band and team coming down the hill. He stood up front with my wife explaining to him what was about to happen and I stood back in the crowd talking with his dad. Nice guy and I was happy to give his kid the experience.
Leave it to shitheads to ruin it for er’body!

Yup. This is partly why they closed it if you were around Union during gameday it brought a lot of riff raft in like this. Too many under aged HS kids getting alcohol access too.
