He makes a nice play here and there but he’s had his struggles at times. I’d like to know who would be next in line at SS.

Ole miss went all in to win this game. We didn't. Saved hilliard and didn't overthrow Sanders.....that being said, Gilbert was hot trash (could be good, now hopefully he never pitches again) and the situational hitting was absolutely atrocious...just gotta hope this bad loss doesn't roll over into the regional

Sometimes it's hard to believe how Slaughter was such a high draft pick out of highschool. If that light bulb moment ever comes kid could be outstanding. But as of now, not so much

You can't split them up either or it still kills momentum lol. Hughes I can deal with. Hes in earlier than he should be and you can afford a hole in your lineup for a SS. The rest are a problem. I still believe we would be better off with Bain at 2nd Slaughter at 1st and Reid at 3rd. Improves your defense at 1st and 3rd while weakening it at 2nd but strengthens your lineup.
