I know you overlooked the word "dominant"; they were serviceable.

Y’all saying the OL will suck based off of a spring practice without 2 of its starters is the most TD thing ever

Davis is a top shelf coach. How many 5* OT do we have? The middle of our line sucked last year at center and tight guard. Now great tackles are gone nd super high high quality isn’t there. You can still suck having the best coach. The 018 line isn’t coming through the door.

And this is the problem right here with our fans.

Yall took a few good plays and OVERLOOK EVERY THING ELSE.

Wanna know why Nuss had to make those 2 big throws during the Ole Miss game?

Because he started off the game 1-9, 6 of those throws over 25 yards.

Nuss was 12-39 on balls over 25 yards up pass the A&M game. Thats 30%, which was his completion percentage going into the 4th agaisnt Ole Miss BTW.

I like Nuss. He's a good kid. But yall putting lofty expectations on a kid who just isn't what you all expect.

Go back and watch A&M game. He was lights out first half. What happened in the 2nd half when they took the lead and we needed Garret to press and put his team on his back? 3 really bad INTs and a few REALLY bad throws.

Your best players just left. They aren’t going to be improved. It’s gonna be rough. We have all new WRs too. Nuss is gonna run for his life.

No, they were dominant. They gave up 2 sacks total until week 7. 4 total week 8. Take out the Florida game, and this O line gave up 9 total sacks, while having injuries to your 1st string Guard and Center.

Thats ELITE. Stop talking bad about this Oline because some idiots told you we couldnt run the ball.

You really think Davis dictates blocking scheme?

I couldn't be less impressed by Brad Davis

Here’s the thing. Brad is a great recruiter, which he has been backing up. I’d be annoyed about his work with the O Line if it wasn’t Kelly’s specialty.

I assumed it was gonna be Brad getting them here and then BK being much more involved with the O Line group than most others.

I expect the DL to be absolutely dominant and the OL to have issues in the first half of the season

If this is the case, we will not be in the playoff. It better not last that long.

I think blocking scheme has a lot to do with it. One reason I'm somewhat optimistic about the Atkins hire and his different schemes he's used in the past. No way he's here to just coach TEs

I take BK at his word when he says the goal this Spring wasn't to find the best 5 and plug them in. Let the guys develop and coaches can see where to start in the Fall.

I also think the portal has lot to play here as well. You throw Thompson and Moore with first team last 2 weeks of camp and you are going to potentially lose a couple guys you want to keep for depth and development.

Nuss is a short/medium accuracy thrower with deep strength but no touch. Which is perfectly fine and Brees threw for 5k yards with that ability. But we ain't taking the top off of defenses unless Nuss gets better in a hurry.

I see the “Jayden has 5 years in college, he can’t develop into a better QB” group of our fanbase is feeling cocky again

I’m all for letting Davis go and hiring Sam Pittman after this year if the OL is lack luster. (Surely he gets canned by Arkansas after this year right?)

I’ll give you a hint. Our D line is most likely not that dominant and Davis is really bad at developing O linemen. This has been a problem every year since he’s been here

Scroll through my posting history big dog. I was able Jadyen fan because he didn't turn the ball over and played with an AWFUL OL.

Nuss has played with the BEST OL in LSU history. 3 players can realistically be drafted and a 4th will possible end up as a UFA. No other LSU team can say that.

Quit trying to turn him into what he's not and you'll get a lot more enjoyment out of the games instead of praying he connects on a deep pass.

Best Oline in LSU history has to be the biggest joke in LSU history.
When you have a left guard that blocks nobody on any play unless that dlinemen runs directly into him, and the center who is shove back in Nuss' lap on darn near every passing play.
Our RG and RT were serviceable and our LT was a good pass blocking tackle.
None of them were worth a crap in run blocking.
