All the MA's up in here with their predictable litany of excuses for failure.

The "Yes Man" hiring philosophy of PM is inexcusable and justification for termination. You don't hire boys to do a mans job in the SEC. Hire legitimate assistant coaches or gtfo. (Of course, nothing will happen because of King MA JA)

This team will be fine. They will be a strong 2 seed that nobody wants to play.

He has won the SEC Title 2 of the last 3 years, made it to Omaha 2 of the last 3 years, and was in the championship series last year. You people are morons. It's honestly embarrassing we have fans like you. If you represented the majority, absolutely no one would want to coach here.

Tbone. You’re wrong there. Coming from several past players, he is one of the best.

They just aren’t very good. It happens. It’s 18-19 year olds playing baseball.

I disagree. But I’m not terribly worried either way.

The team is very good. Just some bad luck on injuries having to play too many young players. We knew we would be young but not this young.

Again, I disagree. The numbers are what they are. I can’t say “if they were healthy they’d be great.” They aren’t healthy. So I’m looking at the team they are fielding. And that team isn’t very good.

It happens. I’m a reasonable person. It doesn’t upset me and I’ll still support these kids 100%. But they don’t have “it” this season.

Injuries at key positions and a ton of starters gone from last year’s team.

How many SEC wins will it take to get to postseason? 15?

Or will making SEC tourney be enough this year?

This year the SEC west champ might be 15-15

For all the complaining and it is justified after this weekend if the bullpen doesn't fall apart yesterday this team is tied for first in the West.

Well our hitting is no where near consistent enough or has enough power and pitching is suspect at best. Not ready to fire Mainieri but last week was the worst week for LSU baseball in recent memory. Lost to Tulane and was swept by SC is 3 of the ugliest SEC games that I can remember. Blowout, Blowout, Blown 6 run lead. That's as bad as it gets?

Every team has a off year. Lsu is always in the hunt, but they act like they quit.
