Call me stupid, but in that situation I find it hard to blame the coach
Yes, arguably a different hitter gives a better chance of a positive outcome, but I struggle to blame a coach for believing in a new guy and the new guys have to get meaningful reps for later in the season

frick.... I just didn't like pulling Jobert for Bianco in that situation. Bianco has had like 7 plate appearances this season.

Cause Pearson could have barreled one up to make it 4-3. Gio doesn’t give you any real advantage over Merrifield. Dude made some good pitches with some nice change ups down and away. Good move, just didn’t work.
