OKC sports radio host just now: LSU with an offense is the "sum of all fears"

The Oklahoman Sports Writer, Barry Tramel, also said on the Oklahoma Sports Animal a few minutes ago that there is a very real scenario in which three SEC Teams: Bama, UGA and LSU get in the playoff. His two co-hosts agreed with him.
And they said Burrow is a legitimate Heisman Candidate.
National buzz is getting louder. Whether or not they're right in the end, it feels nice to hear us in the conversation again.

Unless everyone else loses at least 2 games, there is no way 3 SEC teams get in the playoff.
Ohio State will be 13-0 most likely or 12-1 at the very least. They will be IN.
Oklahoma will probably be 13-0 or 12-1 and will be in if they are Big 12 champions. Texas at 12-1 Big 12 champs would likely be IN.
Clemson is IN at 13-0.
Only room for one SEC team this year.

although i don’t see it happening, notre dame beating georgia would be huge for us.

Not over a 12-1 LSU. No way.

LSU loses close game to Bama, destroys everyone else
Bama goes undefeated, loses to uga in SEC-C
Georgia drops a weird regular season SEC game but wins sec-c
All 11-1. Who goes to CFP?

I'd rather just beat them in Atlanta when they're undefeated.

Bama would get the benefit of the tie breaker I'm sure, but on paper, I think it'd be LSU. The only loss would be close and a road game at Bama.

Georgia.
Georgia beat Bama who beat LSU. LSU and UGA don't play each other in that scenario.

Just after the 2017 Rose Bowl (2016 season - game on Jan. 2, 2017) I was taking it in, my first trip to that storied venue. Southern Cal had just beaten Penn State in (I think) a walk-off LONG field goal to win (I think) 51-48 in the highest scoring Rose Bowl of all time (surpassed a year later by UGA-OU).
I was originally in the PSU section. But I walked around the place, and the Southern Cal band was playing victory tunes, and some Trojan fans saw my shirt and said "Hey... L S U ?? Aww man... if you guys could ever get a really good quarterback, NO ONE could EVER beat you"

It just gives us the ability to compete with the Bama, who has had the total package the last decade.

I say Georgia will lose to A&M, maybe Auburn and SEC championship game to us. No playoffs for UGA.

Texas will lose 3 games this year

Under your scenario, UGA and Bama are 12-1 and LSU is 11-1. UGA has the SEC title, they are in.

Absolutely not... Notre Dame has a cupcake schedule after that.. An undefeated Notre Dame team will get in every time. You can bank on that and it’s a crime.

The o my reason they are pumping the potential for 3 sec teams is in case LSU runs the table and goes undefeated. If LSU beats bama and Georgia the story line has already been established that Georgia and bama deserve another shot.
If LSU loses to bama even if they win out other than that game the 3 sec team talk will die.

didn’t even think about it like that but you’re absolutely correct.

Nope. Especially not this year.

If the SEC somehow got three into the CFP, you'd immediately see ADs of the other P5 schools calling to restrict each P5 to one berth each year...or to kick the SEC out altogether lol

Georgia is not losing to A&M. They are not losing to ND either.
