Was there for the OSU with Miles. I couldn’t have been higher than the Superdome. There were no chairs behind me and my cousin.
We didn’t care though!
And we didn’t want to leave afterwards.
And we will never forget that experience.

Good for you. I hope you and your wife enjoy it. You have yourself an amazing wife if this is her one wish to splurge a bunch of money on.

I was in attendance in 2007 w/ my dad.
I was there with my son. Fantastic experience.
He never told me how much he paid for the tickets until 2 days ago. Holy crap. If I had known I would probably have advised him not to spend that much.

I’ve got awhile until retirement, but I’m coming in from MS too.
Can’t wait. This will be my 3rd NC game. Missed Bama NC game thank God.

Was there in '07 as well, enjoy it Chief. Played in 4 since 2004, pretty darn impressive.

Damn you. I’m 65 and 7 months into my retirement. My wife is a couple of years from retirement. We basically take our vacation to Tiger Stadium 7 weekends in the fall. We make the 250 mi (one way trip) and sit in our season tickets in the south end zone. My son also has season tickets and is “strongly encouraging” us to go. He gives a minimal amount to TAF but he got 2 tickets in the upper terrance.
What has had me frozen is sticker shock and by damn i love watching games in Tiger Stadium. This ain’t Tiger Stadium, I’m not missing a key game in Death Valley.
My wife is quietly supporting my decision while dropping hints how much she would love to go.
i too will likely never have this opportunity again and had this sort of settled in my mind until i read this post. Our situation is so similar it’s like you represent the side of me that would relish being in the Dome if we won it all. I’ve shed tears in my living room in 2003 and 2007. I’d like to do that in person but i just can’t pull the string............yet. I must want to go or i wouldn’t keep checking stub hub and ticket master four times a day.
i thought this was settled in my head but after reading this i’m more tempted to just say “F it”.

I told the wife at Christmas that maybe we should start thinking about doing something for ourselves.
You need to make this your goal everyday for the rest of your life. You have paid your dues my man. You don't owe anyone anything. Go have fun!

Use the credit card dude. U may never have this chance again. FFs that’s what I’m doing. 17 dollars a month until I die...which won’t be long.
GEAUX TIGERS!
ETA: this was a joke. My wife has no idea that I have a credit card. But I’m using it anyway to surprise her.
