I think that you could put Morgan in the outfield right now and he would be excellent. We haven't been able to see his arm strength because he has been at first base. He is athletic enough to play any of the positions in the OF. But Crews is the answer for me. He will be one of the best players to ever come through LSU by the time he is done.

MLB is all about the long ball, I would take Crews...unless I just really needed a top-notch 1B that can hit well.

Morgan's happy feet make playing first base look extremely difficult.

I've always like more of a 'smooth operator' on that corner.

Love Morgan but I'd go with Crews

Just darn happy to have Crews, Morgan, and Thompson on this team. They are ALL only going to bet better.

Just because Morgan plays 1B right now doesn't mean he has to professionally. He's an outfielder by trait and has shown he can play first at an elite level.

Morgan is superb. Crews pulls off the ball when trying for theH.R. They are both great players.

Probably an unpopular opinion but I can see Thompson being drafted higher than Morgan when their careers are done at LSU.

The only question for him right now is hit tool. He's fast, he has big arm, he can field short at a pro level, and he's already flashing game power.

The premium position of shortstop could be a huge tipping point in his favor if he continues to develop at the plate.

Both are spectacular players but I don’t think it’s close from an MLB standpoint. You take Crews

Like the rest... why can’t I trade up and get both!

Tre is #1a
Crews #1B

But damn it’s close!

I guess you never saw Keith Hernandez play. Watch Morgan reminds me so much of Keith on both sides of the ball

Rankin Woley reminds me of Keith Hernandez off the field.

MLB teams think a little differently now than they did in the 70’s/80’s when Hernandez played.

I know & it’s sad watching everyone be told that they have to hit the same way even if they’re not capable

There games are similar but Lester's post only thing they have in common is the play 1st base. Votto hit over 35 HR lol! Lester bro I agree with alot of your comments but that was a shitty post. All the ones you named are middle of the lineup guys.Morgan will have more SB in 1 season then they all have combined
