Yes paying players is wrong, that’s why nobody does it. We never paid players before, not in basket ball or any other sport, neither does any other university. Wade was one lone despicable cheater and we never ever never never cheat in recruiting. That’s why that case should have failed in the Supreme Court.

Because WW got caught on tape talking about paying players and paying them from his joint account and getting LSU investigated which was used to set the program back 3-4 yrs

This exactly. We are the ONLY school who cheated in basketball and are paying the price. Auburn’s 8 ever NCAAT appearances prior to them hiring Bruce Pearl are the reason they started signing 5 stars the moment he was hired.

If you are going to make an argument at least get the facts right. The IARP (NCAA) never proved he "made payments to recruits from his joint account. It's an incorrect statement that gets repeated as fact over and over again. No matter how many times it gets repeated it's still just as wrong.

Disclaimer: I am not a basketball coach.
But it seems to me that they are lacking in fundamentals. When a player is being pressured and picks up his dribble, NO ONE moves towards him to help. They all just stand there.
They don't drive the lane when they should and run up it when they shouldn't. They seem to want to just throw up threes to avoid contact, and worst of all, though no one is hitting threes, they keep doing it. Why are our big men largely not under the basket fighting for rebounds and blocking shots?
WHY CAN THEY NOT CATCH A PASS AND SHOOT under the goal when their arms are above waist high??? It is a TERRIBLE habit to bounce that dang ball before going up for a shot. When you do this, the defense is hovering over the top of the shooter and disrupting scoring. Sloppy passing and careless ball handling.
Shall I continue? This is all stuff that should be coached in Jr. High and High School.
I would force them to do drills in practice where if they dribble under the goal before shooting, they would be running stadiums. If you don't help your teammate when he's trapped, you will run stadiums. And so on.
But that is my opinion and I could very well be wrong.

Tomorrow is the rematch to avenge last years 61-59 last second loss in the Cayman Islands. The Tigers squandered a 12 point lead in that one. This years version of the Wildcats features another resilient team. They are 7-2 with 4 of their wins coming in overtime. I saw an early line that has LSU -1.5. I would take Kansas St and give as many as 7. Thanks in advance McMeh.
Anyone thinking of Christmas gift ideas for McMeh. He's got to have a serious chafing issue with the amount of time he spends with his arms folded...

No program punishments outside of a 10 game suspension… at a different school. Harbaugh just got suspended for “cheating” and will be getting a nice fat new contract.
