So he called the Cincy coaches to thank them, but tell them the bad news. Word has now gotten out. Next step is announcing the transfer to LSU..right?

This is competitive sports, in the best conference in the country. Brutal competition, extreme pressure, high expectations.
It's the most important position on the field. If you're not good enough, we'll bring in someone else that is.

I hope so, but if Burrow's made up his mind, why not just call the coaches to deliver the news and then tweet out his decision? Why the wait?
