That 2002 title was as legit as AM’s win over LSU in 2018. It was the single biggest gift of a title based on a bad call of all time, Bc there’s no what-if ripple effect. If that official does not make an objectively bad call Miami wins the game. No question.

Even in the saints v Rams screw job the saints technically would’ve still had to make a 27 yard field goal to win

If the officials did their job then that call never has to be made. (this was 2 minutes left in the 4th with an auto first down ending the game)

OSU has a pretty solid claim tbh

Yep, just had 2 more 1st round picks, our guys are falling to 2nd this year.

They've had 7 1st round DBs picked in the last 5 drafts now. That blows away - everyone.

For reference, we've had 2 in same time frame.

Ruggs was never a primary guy at Bama and never produced super high, in fact he was very far behind their Top 2 this season. He's got speed and that's about it. He definitely got way overdrafted going 1st for WRs. He's not even close to the same player Jeudy or Lamb is.

The PI call in OT

That’s incredibly petty considering we have one split title and a 2 loss title.

Not remotely the same thing. The split title is still horseshite. The rules were the bcs standings decided the top two teams and then the precious west coast got left out and mid season the media poll decided to abandon the rules everyone had agreed to.

The two loss title is more suspect than a one loss title. The title is based on that season not others. In 2007 there were so many upsets that a 2 loss team was one of the top two teams. Again according to the bcs standings, the rules agreed to before the season.

Ohio State lost that game against Miami but for a bailout call and doesn’t even have the decency to admit it. This is the same fan base who largely still thinks they were the best team this past season.

They claim that guys as an elite DB in the league. Now that is balls.

Because there are so many prolific passing offenses in the Big10! Ha! The 2nd and 3rd best teams Michigan and Wisconsin are both rushing teams primarily.

Let them bring that crap down to the SEC vs Bama, UF, LSU, UGA, AU, etc. and then talk.

They do put out some great QB's, but NOT DBU!

Ohio st has had some decent DB’s come out to be fair. With that said, we as LSU fans have huge dicks and we need to act like that and not start threads that show that we have small dicks.

I feel 2003 LSU NC is legit, but actually 2003 USC had a more legit claim to NCG invite with it's single 3OT loss to Cal.
Not sure who should've been inserted in 2007 NCG other than LSU- KU? LOL (finished 7th even with bowl win), USC had worse losses, ditto OU, and UGA was boatraced by UTk, plus lost to 6-6 USCe, Misery lost games by 10 and 21pts.
What was left, Hawaii?
2007 LSU beat the media darling by 2 TDs, so you have a 2 loss winner and a 2 loss loser.
LSU was the best team that season according to BCS, AP and Coaches.
all of them, every season.

Bud, if LSU switches places with them, there’s a zero percent chance you wouldn’t claim it and would defend it until the end of time

Stop being dumb

Draft night is fun and no one can argue with the numbers as far as OSU is concerned. But Peterson, Mathieu, Adams, White, Claiborne...and that's just off the top of my head. The production NFL teams have received from LSU DB's is psychotic. And every bit as good, if not better, than OSU's.

And just being petty now but you'd think for all that fricking talent, the Bucks would have at least 2-3 more NC's in the 2000's.
