That's gonna go over real well.

Ohio St. Done w/ Ricks
Did he ask for to much in a NIL deal? What's going to be the going rate for a CB? The market may not have been set yet and he asked for to much.

If I was Ohio State, I'd be a little gun shy. Ewers (qb) just supposedly got 1 mill for four months and then transferred. Thats not very good return on your investment.

There should probably be a new rule that when you take NIL money you can't transfer away for a set time period.

Seems like it will be a year or two until it all sorts itself out. You get burned out the gates on a guy like Ewers and you pull back a little on the next deal. Market will set itself right eventually. I kind of like that idea on the no transfer. Or even pay it back.

NIL contracts already say if you leave the contract is null and void.

Well then it's down to UGA, Bama, & USC according to his list.

If he is a soft quitter, then he'll fit right in at UGA. They fold like a lawn chair in big games.

It should. Everyone else in big business signs contracts with stipulations.

Don’t need anything that binding, just invent the payments to backload after season completion.

You think Ewers didn't get paid for attending tOSU? He left. Is there any evidence that he did empty-handed?

Who was the other one? If that’s true looks like we dodged a bullet with him leaving like Gilbert.

I wouldnt ever wish ill on a dumb kid; however, it would give me some pleasure to see him go to Bama and see the game winning touchdown caught over the top of him.

That said, he's going to USC. Him and tSoy will get along great for about 4 games.

Not sad about this. I didn’t really believe his mom when she said no way he leaves LSU. Still, I respected the kids decision when he entered transfer portal. And now I respek OSU decision to back away from a crawfishing soft pudding boi like ricks. Screwed himself here.

I'll believe that when I see it. 40 years of choking says otherwise.
