Glad we beat Ole Piss in anything. To beat your chest about this win though is insane.

if the talent is that bad, then he should be fired for roster management and talent evaluation deficiencies.

He lost his top two players to season ending injuries and personal issues the past two seasons. There are VERY few coaches , if any, who could compensate for that.

At a minimum! Landry should also surrender the Gov mansion on the weekends for Mac and his pals for beating lowly OM

The Pumptards are a sad and pitiful lot. MF'ers need to distinguish the - Neg Nuts from the + Honey Pot Realists.

The only things that happened last night were "Curley & the Sylvester's" embarrassed the "Bird Flippers" on their home court, Beard eliminated himself from the possibility of coaching at LSU after Curley McHallman is canned and Maximus McKinnon had a great audition for a spot on the Will Wade team!

Last night was a massive win. It put LSU (via tiebreakers) firmly in 14th place...setting up a huge game on Saturday with Oklahoma in a battle for 13th place.

LSU isn't mathematically eliminated from the 12th place prize. But it's going to take a one of those late runs that will be talked about for decades to get there.

We're going dancing for sure... in the NIT.

Too bad that new Australian commit couldn't have suited up now. Can we get him enrolled in the accelerated Spring 2 session and eligible for the SEC tourney?

LSU will likely lose to Oklahoma. They're playing good basketball nowadays, winning 3 of their last 5. They've beaten Vandy, Georgia, and Auburn

How many teams jump five spots in one year?

A lot of them. John Brady did it. Trent Johnson did it. Will Wade did it. Will Wade actually umped from 9th to 1st and then stayed in the top 5 for the remainder of his time here.

Jumping from last to 11th isn't impressive, especially when it's your 4th year. It also means you're still terrible. He hasn't even done that yet nor is he likely to get to 11th. The fact you're even discussing scenarios for LSU to get to 11th place is hilarious

When you have twice as many double digit conference losses as you do conference wins, you lose the benefit of the doubt.

Win number 3 in the SEC, against a team on a 10 game losing streak, in double overtime. What a fricking winner.

More than the McMen who are idiots for sure, I question the sanity of the folks that wanted Chris Beard to be the next coach here!!

Wow!

How many teams jump five spots in one year?

I truly hope youre kidding with posts like this.

But to answer your post that is sensationalizing a hypothetical situation that won't ever happen (just to make Matt Mcmahon look a tiny bit better): about 15 to 25 teams do it every season.
