How many streakers were there during that rain delay? At least 4 IIRC, one being a chick.

I remember one guy making it to the eye of the tiger and sliding and the folks in the crowd cheering very loudly

I remember thinking we were going to lose our first game of the year when Jamarcus Russell threw the ball too high over Skyler Green on 4th and goal.

One of the hotter tailgating days.

Don’t remember the streakers, but, do remember the rain beginning to pour as the national championship flag was being raised.

The higher the flag was raised, the harder it rained. And, the louder the crowd got.

So many streakers. They had a fat cop totally whiff against one of them.

The streakers, the heat, the heaven-sent rain, and Alexis Serna missing all 3 extra point attempts in his college debut, the last was in OT and cost OSU the game. Serna won the Groza award the next year and never missed another PAT in college...Death Valley will do that to a young kicker. Oh yeah, he also doinked a FG attempt off the upright in the South end zone.
And the Banner, of course.

I remember thinking that the cop shouldn’t have eaten so many donuts. Wrong I know but I’m honest if nothing else.

I remember a young Erin Andrews debuting for ESPN on the sidelines (if I'm not mistaken)

That in 2004 Saban put in a true freshman in a tight game shows how little he thought of Marcus Randall.
