So what's the deal with Cam Johnson? Figured he wouldn't get passed the 2nd but was his number too high for anyone to meet?

This may be selfish but I am glad we do not have many high school recruits drafted so far. Good chance they stay back and could help us go back to back nattys.

The purse is getting low and they could increase there draft rankings by coming to LSU and make some money with NIL.

It's crazy that sometimes i click back over and 5-6 names have popped up in a couple minutes, and then every once in a while you get to a team that's grinding out a 9th rounder

Friendly reminder, the pick values aren't capped after the 10th round.

The Rangers just grabbed a JUCO kid from Cali that I think is going to be really good. Quincy Scott from Palomar.

Wow! Just counted the numbers of high school seniors drafted to now.

57 high school seniors vs 209 college and JUCO
Those are staggering numbers

Is there any chance Jordan Thompson returns for his senior year?

Teams can spend up to $150,000 on individual picks in the second half of the draft without worrying about the amount coming out of their bonus pool. But if they exceed that threshold, the amount over $150,000 comes out of the bonus pool.

I would not think he returns no matter the results of the draft.

But I don't know much else beyond that.

Honestly wouldn’t hate it if he moved to 2B. Would be a leader in the clubhouse and let Guidry play SS

This is either not correct or worded poorly.

With better guys available next year I can't imagine him having a spot to come back. Right?

The 150 is correct though, I've been wrong with the 125. Just found a BA article referencing the 150.

If Thompson were to come back, which I don’t see happening, he’s not moving off of SS.
