Neal will be a stud all sec catcher

Herring will be all sec, prob have the best career

Shores will be top 5 pick

Watched all 3. Hard to beat those 3 anywhere in the sec

Herring was just unbelievable

I have them but I will not post all of their stats because I don't feel like seeing people comment like retards on how some of these guys suck so much. So I will just highlight some good things.

Pospect League - P. Kling
0.843 OPS
70 PA
15 H - 56 AB (0.268 avg)
0.414 OBP
2 HR
11 RBI
15K/12BB-2HBP (21% K rate)
7 SB

MLB Draft League - Micah Bucknam
17IP 8H 1ER 15K/5BB 0.53ERA 0.76WHIP

Cape Cod - Grant Taylor
21IP 15H 5ER 30K/2BB-1HBP 2.14ERA 0.86WHIP

I know a few other freshman are playing like Ethan Frey and Zeb Ruddell but I can't access their stats. I think Project can so maybe he can help out with them if they are doing well.

Like to see this a lot.

I know we'll have 1-2 current pitchers really turn it up for next season and crack the rotation.

In his last outing dude struck out 12 batters in 6 innings.

Cape Cod League Pitcher of the Week! Taylor pitched 6 innings vs. the YD Red Sox on 7/12 and struck out 12 batters while surrendering just one run on four hits, with no walks. He has a 2.14 ERA this summer and 30 Ks over 21 IP.

Sooooo are we going to have another thread for me to lurk and get all my info that makes me sound baseball smart or at least smarter than the average ranter?

I’ve spent so much time being unproductive refreshing this thread over and over I’ve forgotten what I normally do.
PS. Thanks project, Adam, nap, drock, n2…., Baytown, carrone, Lester, etc. for the time y’all put into this stuff. Greatly appreciate

Your best bet is to follow along on the recruiting baseball thread Project has. More intelligent when it comes to baseball over there than on the rant. Probably won't have all that much baseball talk on the rant with football starting up.

Waiting on Scuba fall scrimmage reports now. Hopefully he can get out there often for me to follow along with what is going on.

The brewers just signed their first round pick for about 600k below slot. They’re going to make a run at someone. Hopefully they just work down their draft pick list in order.

It’s interestingly sad to see players signing for $2500 bonuses.

Without looking I’m sure they’re Seniors without any remaining eligibility.

But it’s a business. :^)

Word is out that Kling has a great eye at the plate and a low K rate compared to his peer group.

Those stats you posted bear that out. Bodes well for his adjustment to college.

And damn I'm pumped about Noot. Just gotta hold on over the next several days to know for sure.

Good to see him get paid.

Texas paid their 9th round pick $1000

I heard they also gave him a free McNuggets coupon!!

Was that pick a College Sr.? If so not surprising. That is why you see most take the $ at first draft eligible slot. Sure you can always come back and improve draft slot but money might go from 6-7 figures to 4 really quick!
