Who is better defensively between Torres and Milazzo?

Milazzo threw out a bunch of guys (both college national team players and guys his age) while training at the Team USA complex last summer. I don't know about the rest of his defense though. And his bat supposedly has a little ways to go.
Reports on Torres have been tough to come by for the last year or so. He played at IMG his junior year so he's caught good pitchers and faced good pitchers.

Just wondering whether one of them is good enough behind the plate to warrant Garza moving to DH.

Exactly what Im wondering....
This would bench Bianco in all likely hood, but we need to be able to have at least a small chance of throwing out runners.

I see no reason to start over with a new primary catcher for the 3rd straight year.

I do find it quite ironic that the 1st team all SEC shortstop was taken 1 pick after Smith, who was snubbed from even making second team all SEC
But the A&M SS went first

have we verified he's a real person?
Raven's have brought back the word that he does in fact exist.

Do you know if Torres still switch hits?

I would highly doubt if Garza comes back they dont start with him at catcher before ever moving him to DH. I think he's earned that opportunity if he comes back to hold down the catcher job and let him prove it early in the season.
If he still cant throw guys out and/or struggles stopping some balls then we probably try someone else at catcher and move him to DH.
I want to track what Garza has done in the last month or so, cant believe he was under .200 really not that long ago and is now well over .300.

If you are moving Garza to DH he will just sign when he gets drafted. No way that is discussed until later. I still think he will be your catcher if he returns.

Before his first homerun against Florida I think he was just above .180. It’s crazy how quickly he’s changed.

So you guys believe we haven't thrown anyone out this year b/c of the catcher? or is it our pitchers aren't doing their job and are slow to the plate? serious question here.

Related question: does Dunn call throw-overs to 1st or is that at the discretion of the pitcher?
Posted on 6/4/19 at 10:52 am to TeddyPadillac
Towards the beginning I felt it was more on the pitchers, but there have been times in the last several weeks that the runner won’t even get a good jump and the ball is still nowhere close to on time at second base. The pitchers could probably do more to help Garza, but I do think some of the runners are on him at this point.

Where do we see C.J. Willis fitting in next year?
Posted on 6/4/19 at 11:09 am to Zachary
I think Willis is more of a 1B long term or DH depending on what the rest of the draft looks like. As others have said a move to RF in the future would also most likely not be a problem.
