Forgive my ignorance but is Cade related to Braden?

If so and he’s that good he might want his brother playing more.

Yes. And all we know is that Cade and their family have said multiple times that the two of them want to play together. I would assume the best PM could do in that regard is just keep Braden on the team.

Maybe Braden can platoon at 1st and back up Garza.

I don’t mean any wrong to Braden in any way, but with our roster and incoming talent specifically at the catcher position, he will either be entirely bullpen catcher or just get some time in blowout games like he did last year. Maybe I’m wrong and he goes off. If he does that will only be good for the team and as with any tiger whether he breaks through or not I will support him fully.

I don’t understand how he wasn’t ahead of Mathis - is it really possible to be any worse?

Best guess at who's leaving?

Not a big fan of doing this, especially this early. Kids may decide to leave on their own before any other decisions need to be made. It's only 5 spots to trim as it is. I have a feeling most of that will work itself out without Mainieri having to do much.

The team is still playing. Some decisions haven’t even been made yet.

The big difference will be that we won't have to RELY on a freshman to step up next year. We can ease them into their roles.

And we can't possibly have the injuries to the extent we had this year 2 years in a row, huh?

It's always going to be possible, because it's pitching and it's bad for the human body, but I would say it's unlikely.

Did McMurray have Tommy John surgery? Or was it something else? Thanks.

Project is anybody besides Bianco playing for the Roogaro? Or playing in that league on a different team? Want to go check them out when they play the Cane Cutters.

Ripoll is scheduled for the Cane Cutters, he's listed on their roster now.

The Rougarou haven't updated their roster in a while, so I have no idea if anyone else is set to go there. And no one in the league is publishing box scores.

McMurray has a shoulder scope similar to AJ Labas.

Isn't that where Beck played last summer, and they over used the crap out of him? Surprised he is sending anybody back.

They interviewed a lady last week on the Tiger Zone radio show & Bianco was the only LSU player

What's the last you've heard on Labas? Is he throwing at all?

but I was wondering if defensive wise there wouldnt be a better option.

Still wondering....... Garza’s glove and arm are questionable at best....
He just potentially cost us Omaha with a lazy glove
