This beef all goes back to Landry wanting WW back and SW didn’t want it. He had Mellet on the hook to pay for his salary and SW struck it down.

He is doing what needed to be done . All you fools can bitch and moan about how he’s done it but at the end of the day the two most profitable programs are in disarray because of Scott Woodward . He should have been fired the moment he caved on wade

The contract didn’t handcuff lsu at all. We were able to fire the guy mid season 4 years in.

Woodward only had one good hire and that was Johnson.
He doesn’t get ANY credit for Mulkey because Mulkey wanted and was hell bent on coaching at LSU to begin with. Anyone off the street could have been the AD and hired Mulkey at the time.
He was not a good AD period.

I have a bad feeling about this too. Woodward fricked up Kelly's contract but he also brought us Kim Mulkey and Jay Johnson. Landry needs to shut the hell up now or he will torpedo the coaching search before it begins. I'll lose my shite if we end up with Verge Ausberry as the permanent AD and somebody like Bret Bielema or James Franklin as our football coach.

Yea I don’t get the people coming around saying Woodward is getting the shaft is the gist of my post. The nature of the beast at a football school was almost certain he was done. The AD usually goes with his football hire. Maybe not in the same week but they go.
