Aleva's a joke. He never goes to bat for LSU. He bends over eveytime.

Not sure why LSU slips so damn far to this game - seems their rank deserved a bit more respect than this.

I told everybody last week to have fun at the Chicken Bowl.

Buttock Smoochers already out in full force doing damage control and making excuses for this embarrasment. Hey, that's what they do. It's a finely tuned art form for them.

Everybody be sure to visit the Georgia Aquarium and Stone Mountain to make the trip worthwhile.

Perception can be misleading. Other than money, would you rather a number 18-22 ranked Michigan than a 14th ranked Clemson?

We were dealt a bad blow in the Cotton, but we are going there in the Fall. Personally, I would not make the trip to both the Cotton and TCU game. so now, lets go beat a 10-2 highly ranked Clemson and then travel to Dallas in the Fall.

I am stoked! I love the matchup. Clemson has a good quarterback and an awesome wide receiver. It will be interesting to see if the secondary can shut them down.

There is no reason why the offense shouldn't be able to put up 30+ on that D.

Herbstreit's rant about NIU in a BCS game was great. He has slowly become one of my favorite analysts. Not really kissing the arse of any certain team anymore. Telling it like it is.

Firejoealleva.com. Not really a leader and certainly not an advocate for our program.

I feel terrible for our players. This is not a reward but a slap in their face. Good luck selling those tickets.

Wrong. Payouts for cap one and cotton are significantly more than other non-SEC bowls.

CFA bowl payout - $6.9
Cotton Bowl - $7.25 mil ($325K not significant).
Cap One - $8.5 mil (significant)

I bought 6 tickets. I have gone to the last two peach bowl games against Miami in 2005 and Georgia Tech in 2008. In both, LSU stomped that arse by I believe 41-3, 38-3. I hope we play the same way and wax that Clemson arse. Geaux Tigers.

Bunch of deranged retards in this thread who think that being 10-2 in a conference with one 12 win team, two 11 win teams, and two more 10 win teams means the team "deserves" better than a middling bowl.

LSU is ranked strictly behind 3 other SEC teams and looked like shite at the end of the season. SC has already convincingly beat Clemson just a week ago, so they aren't going to match them up again in a bowl, and A&M is basically a home team in the Cotton Bowl and will bring a ton of fans, not to mention the interest JFF brings.

LSU got exactly what they deserve for this season. I don't care where they are ranked, the BCS rankings are guesswork at best, given how few meaningful OOC games are played each year. I just know that they are, at best, the 4th ranked team in their own conference, and even that is arguable.

It's not Slive's fault, or Aleva's. They didn't make LSU fail to produce when they needed to, they didn't make LSU play like trash at the end of the season, they didn't make A&M more attractive to the Cotton bowl...

You sir, are a moron.

I'll give you Florida and Blammer (barely), but Georgia is debatable. Anyone else that you would list lost to LSU.

Did they make LSU beat A&M in their own house?
