Someone sent that to me earlier today. Was hoping I would never see it again. Thanks.

Don't flatter yourself. I sent it to you, GT23, BB18, Sabi, HCB, Choup, Redfield, aaronb, Astro collectively.

This was probably discussed somewhere in here before but what's yall's take on who will be the weekend starters on the mound?

If you look at the OP, he hasn't gotten to pitchers yet

It probably will be obvious but I don't want to give that away just yet.

This must be the list Fred was talking about the other day.

Poche and two freshman most likely.

Lange is my for sure vote. Then I wouldn't mind seeing bouman or Godfrey or whoever on Sundays.

Lairds arm is a 20 but his fielding is an 80. It's not just his speed that makes him the great OF he is. It's his judgment and great reaction/first step.

I'd also have Stevenson's speed at 80. If he isn't, who is?

No way is Stevenson an 80 speed. He's blazing fast, no doubt. But 80 represents generational speed. Think Billy Hamilton, Vince Coleman, etc.

One thing that I like about these previews is that Adam doesn't default to the extremes the way that many fans tend to do.

I've seen others grade Stevenson's speed an 80. Actual MLB scouts.

And Laird is an 80 fielder. I haven't seen anywhere where he was less than that.

I'll take your word for it. But I think in both cases it was an exaggeration. Particularly in Laird's case. Perhaps you could project an 80... But to say he is currently an 80 seems crazy to me.

He's had zero errors at LSU. None. His range is better than Stevie's because of his first step and angles. It's an 80.

I'm not trying to exaggerate. Adam had them at 75 in those two areas last year. It's my opinion that they've shown to be 80s since then. Love this type of discussion.

Good job so far.
Disagree with not including Scivicque in the DH category as well as the 1B category. If Papierski takes off in time for SEC play, and Scivicque is still hitting, I could see him DHing.

No one on this team has an 80 in anything. 80 is the top of the MLB in a particular tool.

I disagree with that thought, and if that is the logic to be used, then there is no point in using such a scale on our players.
