"Lost his nerve?" He said in his PC this morning that 4-5 yrs ago he would have gone for it but he's now following the analytics & that told him to punt. FWIW.

?? anyone who really believes anything else is looking at this from hindsight. You CANNOT go for it in your own territory with a lead in that situation. Gotta get the stop and their FG kicker had the yips.

Well I was pissed when he thought about going for it.He made the right call.Blame BAKER for this loss.

The spot for that wasn’t good by the ref. Watkins was down closer to the marker than it was given. Was really about a half yard shy but was spotted at a full yard. I bet Kiffin would have gone for it with the proper spot but we’ll never know.
